HUDSON VALLEY, N.Y. -- FEMA is working hard to make their presence known in the Hudson Valley.
After the path of Superstorm Sandy devastated many parts of the region, community relations specialists have been visiting Ulster and Sullivan counties to spread the word about FEMA's Disaster Assistance.
Two registration centers are now open to assist individuals in applying for disaster benefits. FEMA representativeness will be available to discuss options and help maximize benefits.
The centers are located at the Saugerties Senior Citizen's Center and at Kingston City Hall. They will be open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday through Monday.
