It's been an unbelievable season for the Union hockey team. The Dutchmen are in Tampa for their first ever Frozen Four and will take on Ferris State. Sports Director Marisa Jacques has more from the team members who say their coach deserves a lot of the credit for their success.

TAMPA, Fla. -- Union College hockey is preparing for its first ever Frozen Four. The team is in Tampa, Florida ahead of this afternoon's national semifinal.

The Dutchmen face off against Ferris State University at 4:30 p.m.

We caught up with some of the players before the game who said their coach deserves a lot of the credit for how well they've been doing.

Union Senior Assistant Captain Kelly Zajac said, "It was definitely Coach Bennett. He was the one who recruited me, and we got along well from the start. He was honest with me, and he told me what he expected of me. I knew this program was going to turn corners and I just wanted to be part of it and never regretted it since."

Sophomore goalie Troy Grosenick said, "He's meant so much to this program, not only this year, but years previous. He recruited pretty much everyone in the locker room. He's got a great pulse on what's going on in there. He really keeps things loose and fun and brings a calming presence if we get too worked up. He's been incredible this whole year."

The winner of the matchup will take on the winner in the Boston College - Minnesota game on Saturday.
