Clouds Increase, Spotty Showers

Mild, Dry Thursday & Friday

Following a day of partial sun, mild temps and only isolated showers, we'll see a general increase in clouds overnight with the possibility of a shower toward daybreak, mainly south and east of the Capital Region. Clouds should hold sway on Wednesday with possible showers, more to the south and east of Albany as temps have a tougher time reaching 70. Low pressure will move off the New England coast Thursday and high pressure will build back in bringing increasing sun and highs close to 70. An increasing southerly breeze on Friday will temper highs around 70 under partly cloudy skies. Rain will move in from late Friday night into Saturday when a potent cold front moves through from the west, keeping highs in the low to mid 60s. Sunday will feel more like October with changeable skies, a chilly breeze and highs from the 50s to near 60 with seasonably cool weather into the beginning of the work week.
