Warmer, More Humid This Afternoon

Showers, a Tstorm More Likely Tonight/Thursday

A hazy, more humid day today with clouds building into the haze this afternoon and a few isolated thunderstorms developing, mainly over the higher terrain to the west as highs reach the low 80s. A shower or thunderstorm may make it into the area tonight with a few redeveloping, mainly north and west of Albany as lows hold in the low and mid 60s with humidity. Clouds, a few showers and maybe a thunderstorm will be in the area Thursday with highs holding in the mid to maybe upper 70s. The risk of showers continues Thursday night and maybe into Friday morning until high pressure from New England into Eastern Canada starts building back into our area with drying and some brightening by later Friday. Highs will be mostly in the mid 70s from Friday into the weekend with decreasing clouds and shower risk along with increasing sun. We could be in the upper 70s by Sunday, moving above 80 early in the week and then upwards from there.
