Showers End Today

Improving Weather Ahead

The area of low pressure that brough us periods of rain, some heavy, into the start of today is finally slowly beginning to pull further to the east, which is going to lead to drier conditions evolving this afternoon after a damp start.  There MAY even be a few rays of sun late today, especially west of the Albany area.  Highs will make the mid 50s, which is a little better than Thursday felt.

High pressure will build in tonight clearing the sky out more significantly and leading to some sun at times on Saturday.  Highs will end up being slightly above average, as we should feel the low 60s Saturday afternoon.  A fast moving cold front will move through Saturday night bringing a few scattered showers and wind to the area.  We should see some sun at times with a few lake showers developing, especially north and west of the Albany area.  Highs will dip back into the mid 50s to end the weekend.

Right now it looks like nicer weather arrives for Monday and Tuesday with some 70s possible by Tuesday!! Stay tuned.

Have a great Friday and weekend everyone!
